5 steps to make your house a home

Maybe you just bought your first house, you recently moved, or you would like to give your current home a makeover. The most important thing of a house is to make it a home. To make it totally you and to create your own space where you can relax and feel good.

2. Buy some flowers and plants

Plants and flowers definitely give your room an upgrade! Who doesn’t love flowers? Looking for something that will last a little longer? Buy some great plants that match your interior. It doesn’t matter what colour scheme you have going on, plants will always work with it and although being generally green, they don’t ever conflict with other colours. They add some humidity to your room and improve your health and wellbeing. But, don’t forget to water them!

But how do you make your house a home?

Today we would like to give you some tips!

How to create your own “home”?

1. Paint your walls ochre yellow or dark green

Science has found out that painting your walls in yellow or green gives you a feeling of instant happiness. These colours will make your room cosy, warm and they create the perfect base to match with golden or black accessories, warm velvet cushions and some plants!

3. Add some picture frames!

Make your house more personal by adding some nice picture frames. You can fill them with your favourite memories, or you can buy some good-looking posters and create a stunning photo wall!

4. Candles!

Instant cosiness! Candlelight is the cosiest lighting! Make sure you have a view nice candles around your house and light them when the darkness falls. If you add some fragranced candles you have a win – win, besides the lighting your house will smell delicious!

5. Buy a rug

A cold floor doesn’t make anybody happy! By adding one or more rugs you bring some warmth in your living room and besides that, it decorates, it adds some extra colour and it protects your floor.
